Summer has arrived!

The season is upon us! Having a busy week despite the rain, sunshine has arrived!! Going over to the Botanical Gardens today, there is something new every week and they are preparing for the opening of the new Five Senses Garden June 19!!
I am getting reservations in for Lobster College and women's golf lessons! I have made a walking path to the course with my lawn tractor, now you can walk safely to dinner at their new restaurant and play 9 or 18 holes-the new PGA pro is a cutie as well.

Last Storm Of 2007

This should put a boost on the Maine economy and certainly the coast, as we don't usually see this light, fluffy, dry snow. I went out this morning and started up the snowblower and did a few passes. I drove down in to town-just plow trucks out. This is why we live in Maine, a modern day Currier & Ives!.
I guess I will light the fireplace, take down the Christmas tree, get some cooking done for friends coming over tonight to celebrate the past year. 2007 was probably one of the better years that I have spent in the last 10 or so and I look forward to the rest of my life in Boothbay!

Put your feet up, pour a glass of wine, a cup of tea, French pressed coffee, open your favorite book-I have many guests fall asleep in these chairs, there are 3 wingbacks in the common room.

Here it is, first snowstorm as innkeeper. I still don't think that I have absorbed all that is happening. I am having the time of my life and I describe this venture as being as exciting as giving birth-yes, that was my lifes highlights-my two daughters.
